This library is very nice. The people are unfailingly helpful. Lots of good books are available and it’s a very pleasant place to sit and read a magazine or a book. Plus it has a great coffee shop. They also have meeting rooms for community support and a great used bookstore. Highly recommended.
Great place to sit down and get some work done!! Their cafe is a very nice touch as its the only library I've been in that has food, and it makes me want to normalize it haha. Its very spacious and there is lots of material all around. I recommend sitting at one of the tables near the windows to get work done as the vineyards are a pleasant view and having natural sunlight come in helps with the mood! The staff is also very nice and helpful and it's overall my favorite place to get work done as its unmatched locally.
This is really good place for kids and adults
Very good and variety of collections.
They also have some very unique things like
“Library of things “ which lets you barrow things like state park passes, sewing machine, ps5 games, robots, ice cream maker and many more
Great library very organized. I especially love the kids area, as it has a few interactive area where the kids can play together.
As a mother of a little one, it is sometimes hard to find weekend activities my 10 month old will actually enjoy. We decided go visit the Library today on a whim and I am so thankful we did. The front desk Librarian was super friendly and helpful; she told us where all the different sections are and about all the different programs. The children’s section is truly magical!
There are plenty of toys for kiddos of all ages. We will definitely be attending the next live reading!
Great library. Love the size, the layout and the environment in general. Great resource for books and other materials. Librarians are friendly, helpful and informative. Every year my son and I participates in the Summer Reading program and he gets a free book and a golden medal when he finishes which is kinda cool. I love the app and the convenience to reserve books. Self checkout is a breeze also but if you need help there’s always somebody up front. They also have the libby app where I can listen to audiobooks for free. Love borrowing audiobooks and being able to access them through the Libby app for free. One good thing also about getting a library card is that you get free passes to museums through the DiscoverandGo website. (I ignore and steer away from the “rainbow” stuff on the shelf or anything against my religion and beliefs really.)
The Livermore library is an amazing resource to everyone in this community. It is contemporary, well built, clean and staffed very well. I've lived in communities where a library was a trailer with some torn up magazines as reading material. I've rented the Community Room to hold classes for students and community and it is a technologically up to date facility with very nice tables and chairs as well as screen and projector. My school age son has benefited immensely from the books, telescopes, toys, and even a ukelele available for check out. Don't hesitate to stop into the on campus cafe either...The Daily Grind. Smells good as soon as you walk in!
The best place to read your books and study. Fancy and big enough to have a lot of visitors and readers. You can also book study room for group study or meeting.
